I am no stranger when it comes to skin issues. It’s been an on and off struggle my whole life. I’ve tried just about everything only to have things work for a minute and then stop working. It’s been quite the journey but I’m finally at a point where I’m very comfortable in my skin and have seen quite the improvement. For those who have been experiencing a similar struggle, I’m here to clue you in on what’s worked for me!

Products:

  1. Mario Badescu Drying Lotion

    This product is the stuff of miracles! It seriously shrinks and dries up blemishes so quickly, it is a lifesaver. I use this at night after washing my face. You dip a cotton swab into the solution and then dab it on the blemishes. Be sure not to shake the bottle though, as it’s supposed to stay settled.

  2. Hemp Oil

    It might seem weird to be putting something on your face that is used for cooking, but this has done wonders for my skin. I’ve been using this in place of my usual nightly moisturizer. I have noticed a huge improvement already in fading my acne scars. You just use about a dime sized amount to cover your face.

  3. Philosophy: Microdelivery Exfoliate

    I love this cleanser because it feels amazing and you only need a tiny amount to suds up your whole face. I use a gentle cleanser to get any excess makeup off my face at night and then use this exfoliating scrub. It cleanses on a deeper level so that my other products can work more effectively.

  4. Sheet Masks

    I do this once a week and it makes my face feel so soft! You put it on after washing your face (I do mine in the morning) and leave it on for about 15-20 minutes.

  5. Biotin

    I just recently started taking Biotin and have noticed an improvement in the appearance of my skin. I take one tablet a day after breakfast.

Tips:

-Eat your greens! It’s VERY important to pay attention to what you’re putting in your body as it will affect what’s on the outside.

-Drink lots of H2O. It’s recommended to drink at least half your body weight in ounces daily.

-Exercise, exercise, exercise. Your body and skin will thank you. Just make sure to shower and wash your face not too long after your workout.

-Change out your pillowcase every few days and use a clean face towel each day.
