It’s finally beginning to warm up a bit again here in sunny Los Angeles and I took full advantage of the opportunity to soak up some Vitamin D. One of my New Year’s resolutions has been to improve my yoga practice and technique. For anyone who wants to embark on that journey with me, I’ve put together a little simple sequence that can help with leg strength and balance.
Also! Taking pictures is a huuuuge help when working on form. I highly recommend it. Taking these already helped me to adjust a few things in poses I’ve been doing for a while, just from being able to see what my body was doing.
- Downward Dog
- Forward Fold
- Warrior 2
- Reverse Warrior
- Half Moon
- Yoga Squat
Repeat sequence on each side. Stay in each pose for 5-7 breaths.
